Enjoy Your Life Even If You Are Overweight, Can’t Bake, and Have Wrinkles

How to enjoy your life even if you are overweight, don’t know how to bake, or have wrinkles?

I have been trying to de-clutter today. A revelation came to my mind as I looked through magazines. The men’s magazines had subjects such as boating, fishing, camping, hunting, science, cars, movies, etc. The women’s magazines had subjects such as “How to bake a great Chocolate Cake”, “How to lose 20 pounds a week”, “exercises to lose weight”, “how to get pain free”, “how to look younger”, ”how to dress to look thin”, ”how to fix your hair”, ” how to buy clothes”, ” how to become clutter free”, ”how to clean just about anything”, ”easy ways to get rid of wrinkles”, ”how to be happy”, ”how to have a great marriage”, ”how to relax”, ”how to juggle a job, family and housework”, and ”how to decorate”. No wonder we ladies feel like overwhelmed failures. My mom had two types of magazines, painting, and sewing, because that what she loved to do. Just for today instead of exercising to lose weight, take a walk to enjoy the birds, sun, and flowers. Let’s spend our time loving God, ourselves, our families and quit always trying to be perfect.

Enjoy Your Life Even If You are Not Perfect ~What is Perfect Anyway?

If I were a perfect size 2 and looked 27 but didn’t love others;

What difference would it make?

If my house were uncluttered and beautifully decorated, but didn’t have friends, family over to enjoy, what good would it do?

If I could make the best Chocolate Cake in the world but didn’t share it with others and felt guilty eating it myself, what difference would it make?

If I had a job where I received great recognition and pay, kept a perfect house and cooked great meals but didn’t have time for God, my family or others, what good would it be?

Take time to love. Take time to enjoy life, God, family, and friends.

If you love to paint, then paint.

If you love to bike ride, ride a bike.

If you love to walk, then walk.

If you love to visit with people, then take time to visit.

Take time to do what you love and enjoy; God, your family and your friends.

Today’s Challenge:

Write down the things you love to do.

Read magazines and books on what you love to do.

Take time each day to do what you love to do.

Enjoy your life.

Join today it’s free! I look forward to seeing you on the other side. Here’s why I decided to do this challenge. Since joy is a choice, and a choice we make every single day, I want to challenge you to make it a habit. Over the coming days, I want to inspire and encourage you to make a choice each morning to be more joyful.

It takes time and daily conscious decisions to change habits and how we approach life. That’s where the challenge comes into play. The idea is that you have a daily reminder here on the blog and via email each day to help you remember to make that choice. Of course, there will also be plenty of helpful content on the topic of joy in the form of a new daily blog post. At the end of the challenge, I hope you have formed new habits, new ways of thinking, and new ways to look at each situation as it arises. With a little shift in thinking and perception, you can have a more joyful, more fulfilling life. I hope this challenge will help you get there.
