Is it possible to have joy in troubled times? These truly are troubled times. With a worldwide pandemic, can we still find joy in these troubled times. The joy God gives does not depend on outward circumstances. It is a gift He gives when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. God’s joy comes from knowing He is in control and is with us. It is knowing He is our Salvation, Protector, Friend and Lover of our soul. Nothing can happen to us that He doesn’t allow. Psalms 121:1-2 says, “I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”
